Tenimyu help anyone?

Soooo...Tenimyu fans. I'm gonna be doing a sales post soon, and I'm selling some of my old CDs (More than Limit, DL1, blah). Unfortunately, I have no idea what CDs go for these days, and my preliminary research over at [livejournal.com profile] tenimyu and [livejournal.com profile] tenipuri_myu hasn't turned up any useful info. Anyone know, because I'm pretty sure the original 2800Y price tag these CDs have won't fly.

Also selling all of my Gackt CDs. All 12 of them. I have a harder time justifying reasons to keep CDs over books; CDs can be burned, and once you have a digital copy, there's hardly any need for the actual CD anymore (when was the last time YOU used a CD player and not your iPod?). Since my eyes are bad and stuff, I try to stay away from reading scans online all day (though with this new Readability thing recommended by [livejournal.com profile] star_keziah, reading fics online has become SO much easier).

Ah, market research. You confound me to no end. Sometimes, there's no information to be found (how much DOES a Pandora Hearts doujinshi go for anyway?). And sometimes, the fandom's so old that you're lucky to give things away (darn you, Prince of Tennis!). I don't know if this means I'd be a good entrepreneur, or a horrible one. @__@

Not being a Tenimyu fan I can't help, but do you mind if I ask where you're selling your stuff? I've got tons of manga, dj, and goods I don't *need* anymore, but no idea where to sell any of it. (I had been putting the first two up on BookMooch, but at this point I need dollars and not more books to read, so...)

I usually either scope out the specific communities, or I put it up on [livejournal.com profile] garagesalejapan. You can usually get higher prices at specific communities, since they are all fans, but for some of the random stuff, GSJapan is good. I sold a lot there last time I had a big sale.

Cheers. Honestly, I think I'd be happier posting on GSJapan, just because I haven't been active in many fan communities for several years, and people who post just to spam with sale info have always bugged me. And lord knows, I'll be selling in bulk...

I dunno WHAT the going price is these days, but I'd think it would depend on the shipping, too. If the original is 2800 and they're in decent shape...maybe $15-20 total? Or a discount if they buy more than just one?

Hmmm, $15 per sounds pretty good. I wonder which comm is busier these days, [livejournal.com profile] tenimyu or [livejournal.com profile] tenipuri_myu. I know you post a bunch over at [livejournal.com profile] tenipuri_myu. Where do you post your stuff for [livejournal.com profile] goodbye_money?

Haha, I was banned from [livejournal.com profile] tenimyu ages back (I forget what for even...I think I back-talked a mod) so generally I stick to the far-less-crazy [livejournal.com profile] tenipuri_myu. Since the other is locked, I have no clue what's happening there or how active it is ^^;
