JET placements almost here!

JET placements will be announced this Thursday at 5pm EST. Yes, I am very much nervous. Please God, let me be on the main island of Honshu, and let me be in a big city with a bus that comes by more than every four hours...

I have no idea when we'll get ours :( We have to wait for the wonderful Royal Mail to tell us!

Of course I will! I'm sorry you have to wait for the Royal Mail, but maybe it'll be good to you this time? I really just want to be near friends so that readjusting to Japan will be easier. What were your top choices? I think I said Nagoya and Yokohama.

Actually, the only specification I put down was Nagano - I have another JET friend who lives there, and it's in a very good position insofar as getting to Nagoya and Tokyo is concerned. I don't really mind where I am so long as I can get around easy enough. Getting to Nagoya and Tokyo are the big ones for me! I hope my placement is kind on me ;o;

Errr... maybe? I would have to be at my mum's house for more than five seconds to know and what with my current transciency there's just no time for frivolities like opening mail and, well, actually anything beyond grabbing the nearest clothes and running for my next boarding house/family member's house/street corner. One day I will find out though!

I almost landed in Shikoku... >_< compared to that, Okayama was a bustling metropolis!

Hope you land someplace nice! I actually wanted to go someplace like Hokkaido, if only to escape the summer swelter... but ended up the south west, i.e. hottest and most humid part of Honshuu instead. Oh well.

Hokkaido is good for the summer, but I don't like snow, as we don't get it here in Georgia. And when we do, the whole city shuts down because we don't know how to deal with it. >__>
